Jerry E. Goldress

Chairman Emeritus

A turnaround specialist and corporate crisis manager since 1965, Jerry Goldress has been called a “master of turnaround” by Business Week and a “trouble-shooter extra-ordinaire” by Metal Center News. Since joining GGG Partners in 1973, he has been president of more than 100 manufacturing, distribution, and retail organizations. He has served as GGG Partners’ Chairman since 1981.

Mr. Goldress is widely known for the L.B. Foster Company turnaround, in which he transformed the diversified $550 million steel distributor from a company on the brink of bankruptcy with a $55 million loss, into a debt-free, profitable organization in two years.

Prior to joining GGG Partners, Mr. Goldress held senior management positions with Raytheon, General Electric, and General Motors. Mr. Goldress is Chairman of the Board of Frontier Insurance (NYSE: FTR), an insurance holding company; Chairman of Rockford Corp (NASDAQ: ROFO), a manufacturer of audio equipment; Director of K2, Inc. (NYSE: KTO), a manufacturer of skis and sporting goods; and Director of Alamo Group (NYSE: ALG), a manufacturer of industrial mowing equipment. Jerry is also a director of several private companies, including Insulectro, a distributor of PC board supplies and Care Credit, a private label credit card company.
