Vic Taglia has served as the Chief Financial Officer for construction and manufacturing companies in various industries, including a publicly-held manufacturer of asphalt production and heat transfer machinery. His financial experience extends to several privately-held businesses, including manufacturers and distributors of custom loose-leaf binders, telecommunications equipment, wire and cable, consumer garden products, and welding equipment. He has successfully managed factories, warehouse and distribution centers, customer service departments, and information technology departments and projects, including the implementation of company-wide ERP systems.

As an audit manager with Price Waterhouse & Co. in New York City and Charlotte, NC, his clients included a multinational oil company, a large commercial bank, an investment bank, an advertising agency and textile and food manufacturers.

Among Mr. Taglia’s accomplishments are the purchase and sale of entire businesses, product lines, subsidiaries and divisions; the turnaround of money-losing businesses; management of foreign subsidiaries; the negotiation of various financings, including asset-based loans, the sale and leaseback of factories, warehouses and offices, construction and permanent real estate loans, tax-exempt private activity bonds, and unsecured loans, both in the US and abroad.

In addition, Mr. Taglia started a captive insurance company and a management consulting company and directed the entitlement and permitting process of a 2200–acre residential development. He manages a disaster debris contractor, an investment company, and a rock mine and real estate development company.

Mr. Taglia has served as the assignee for the benefit of creditors and negotiated successful debt restructurings and settlements for many clients. Other roles include succession and interim management following the death or disability of business owners, providing professional and impartial advice to the stakeholders during difficult times.

As chief restructuring officer and disbursing agent in bankruptcy court, he managed several successful reorganizations and liquidations. Mr. Taglia also prepared and defended liquidation analyses and identified and collected preferential payments, fraudulent transfers and other amounts due to debtors in these and other cases.

Mr. Taglia holds the credentials, the education and the wide-range of experience necessary to successfully evaluate and turnaround businesses in different industries. He provides well-considered financial, operating and strategic advice, as well as management and leadership to organizations in challenging situations.
